Your face has a dense network of lymph nodes along the jaw, neck and collarbone. When fluid builds up, from salty food, poor sleep, allergies, hormones or a procedure, you'll notice it as puffy eyes, a softer jawline and dull, tired skin. Facial lymphatic drainage uses feather-light, precise strokes to guide that fluid away.
Benefits clients love
Less puffiness around the eyes and cheeks
A more defined jaw and cheekbones
Brighter, glowier skin
A wonderfully relaxing treatment, great for tension in the jaw
After facial procedures
Facial lymphatic drainage is often recommended after facelifts, neck lifts and other facial surgery to help swelling settle. Always get clearance from your surgeon first, and see our post-surgical lymphatic massage page for more.
Frequently asked questions
How long do facial lymphatic drainage results last?
The de-puffed, glowing look is usually most noticeable for a day or two. With regular sessions, many clients find their face stays less puffy in general.
Can I have facial lymphatic drainage after filler or Botox?
Usually you'll need to wait. Many providers recommend avoiding facial massage for around two weeks after injectables. Check with your injector and let Donna know what you've had done.
Is it good before an event?
Yes. A session a day or two before a wedding, photoshoot or big night out is a lovely way to look fresh and rested.
